Together In Strength

At Memorial Park, we shared laughter, stories, and the joy of simply being together.

Widows, single mothers, and our dear friends who follow and support the Silas Mkoba Foundation came together for a day of warmth, connection, and community healing.

Food has a special way of bringing people together — and this day was no exception. From delicious homemade treats to delicacies shared from different countries, every flavour told a story. Watching widows, single mothers, families, and friends enjoy a simple meal under the sun reminded us that happiness often lives in the small moments. Laughter, food, and fellowship created a table where everyone felt seen, valued, and included. When we share what we have, we build a community where no one walks alone.

There is something powerful that happens when people come together in a safe and loving space. At Memorial Park in Coventry, widows, single mothers, and our dear friends gathered not just to socialise, but to breathe, laugh, and remember that none of us walk this journey alone. The simple act of sitting together, sharing food, and talking openly brought comfort and joy that many had not felt in a long time. These moments remind us that healing grows in community — in the gentle presence of others who understand, support, and celebrate you. We invite you to join us in future gatherings, where friendship, hope, and renewed strength are always waiting for you.

At Memorial Park, Coventry, we gathered with widows, single mothers, families, and dear friends who believe in what we do — and something beautiful happened. With laughter in the air, children playing freely, and stories shared under the open sky, we were reminded that healing becomes lighter when carried together. These moments of unity strengthen us, revive hope, and remind every person that they are not alone. When we come together, we create spaces where loneliness loses its power and community becomes our strength. We invite you to be part of this journey — because together, we rise.
